ZKnight (2017) from Munich-based artist Christine Liebich recently entered the Abstract Room Collection. “Christine uses construction materials (concrete, metal rebars) in a singular fashion. Unlike many contemporary artists who use similar media, her work is not centered around the properties of the materials and cannot be described as “found abstraction”. She is a very visual artist, almost classical in a way. She imports reality into the plastic sphere, generating compelling pieces that we are proud to support and advocate”, explains Anne-Valérie Kirmann, Abstract Room General Manager.
