Abstract Room is an international project & label that was launched in December 2015. Abstract Room’s goal is to identify & promote novel practices in contemporary abstraction. Its main activity is to curate & organize exhibitions and to produce & publish critical material on abstraction. Mobility is a key principle for Abstract Room: the exhibitions will tour several cities and will be staged in pop-up galleries or in Abstract Room’s own mobile exhibition space which is under development. The exhibition program will start in the spring of 2017.
