Untitled (2018), a concrete pillow-shape work by French artist Benjamin Sabatier, recently entered the Abstract Room Collection. “Benjamin Sabatier’s work stands out as being animated by a force of its own, disconnected from its source material origin, the construction world. Sabatier intentionally stages his concrete as being light and flexible, diverting the common images associated with this widespread material” analyses Abstract Room director Anne-Valérie Kirmann.
