Turquoise Spiral (2017), a bag painting from Brooklyn-based artist Howard Schwartzberg recently entered the Abstract Room Collection. “Since the end of the 1980’s, Howard Schwartzberg has been at the forefront of formal research in visual arts. He has redefined the role of canvas in contemporary painting thanks to a unique and compelling language. We are extremely proud of having one of his signature bag painting enter our collection” explains Abstract Room Artistic Director Frederic Caillard.
